Short Bio
Jun Suzurikawa was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1981.  He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering in 2004, 2006, and 2009, respectively, from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo.  After a brief postdoctoral work in the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Tokyo, he was appointed as an Investigator in the Department of Assistive Technology, Research Institute of the National Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, Tokorozawa, Saitama, Japan, in 2009, where he is currently Chief of Advanced Assistive Technology Section.  His current research interests include bioelectronics for neural engineering, rehabilitation engineering, and assistive technology for physically challenged people.
