Purpose of the Department

  1. Development and scientific verification of objective and quantitative evaluation methodologies for debilitating sensory system impairments, visual, auditory, and somatosensory.
  2. Development and evaluation of treatment and rehabilitation methods of sensory system impairments.
  3. Development and evaluation of compensatory and alternatively augmentative instruments and usage training thereof for the sensory system impairments.
  4. Research and objective analysis of social needs and technological seeds of the above.
