Assistive Robotics Section

A new section, the Assistive Robotics Section was established in April of 2019. The theme of the section is to assist people with disabilities and concerned people by using technologies relating to robotics, sensors, artificial intelligence, information and communication. These technologies are useful for enhancing independent living of people with disabilities and for their participation in society.

Now two major studies are in progress, "Teleoperated robot for persons with severe motor dysfunctions to enhance their participation in society" and "Human-powered and wearable mechanism to assist gait motion by use of the residual function of hemiplegic patient".
